To fill you in on how we got here so far:
Whilst we were both studying BA(Hons) Garden Design at The University Of Greenwich, we had entered into the Wyevale East Nurseries 'Student Design and Build Award' click here for more details on the competition and if you would like to enter this year - give it a go!
We had entered the previous year but had been unsuccessful, good job too as we were both snowed under with the pressures of the final year at uni ! Once the degree show had passed and we had regained all our lost sleep we put our heads together and decided to give it another go - and are so glad we did!
If you are a student in Garden Design or Horticulture - we recommend giving it a shot- even if you dont win you do receive feedback from RHS judges, so it is worth it for that alone.
I remember when we received the phone call from Richard at Wyevale East Nurseries- lets just say there were screams down the phone and a tear or two of joy from the both of us!
Since then we have had to fill out endless forms for the RHS, we are sourcing materials and plants - its very exciting times for all involved and we hope that you keep posted and join us on our journey from 'Paper to Plot'
